Certifications

You will be offered the opportunity to take a certification test provided by the Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association, Inc.
We recommend that all six and twelve week students acquire farrier certification to begin their professional farrier career.

BWFA Members

The BWFA will allow graduate students from a six week or more school to receive the Apprentice II Certification level. This school is a testing facility for the BWFA.

Your annual dues are paid directly to the BWFA and not to the school and it IS NOT part of your tuition payments. This school does not charge any additional fees for taking the test.

The Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association is currently the largest farrier association in the world. The BWFA offers students a discount if they join upon graduating from a Master Educator School and tested by a Master Educator and BWFA TESTER.

$200 Lifetime Certification Dues are not included in Tuition Cost

The dues amount vary from year to year. The school can inform you of the updated information on your first day of class or by calling in advance.

The BWFA Membership dues are not included in school tuition fees. You are asked to make the payment directly to the BWFA. A Master Educator School is not allowed to charge additional testing fees to take the test, your money goes directly to the BWFA.
