Established in 1989, Georgia Horseshoeing School was one of the first comprehensive farrier schools in the United States to offer next level technology such as using infrared thermal imaging and videography as diagnostic tools when assessing problems with the horse’s foot.

The school is designed to give students the best education in the shortest period of time possible, turning out top students with a 90% success rate. Their goal is to offer a quality education to students to help them thrive as self-employed men and women. They offer graduates a Lifetime Guarantee for refresher training and new technology information and clinics throughout the year for all farriers to provide continuing education.

The school takes great pride in the contributions of its students, faculty and graduates to the science of horseshoeing in the U.S. and internationally. The Farriers' National Research Center is located on the premises, introducing students to research performed by professional farriers. It is the only center of its kind, operated by farriers and caring horse owners to better serve the horse owner community and to provide the equine industry with a more educated professional farrier.

Owner, Link Casey focuses on encouraging farriers without certification to invest in training without the intimidation that comes from attending a university or joining elite social circles within the equine industry. He believes that inclusion rather than exclusion will encourage more horseshoers to pursue a real education and make the public more aware of the need for using a professionally trained farrier, creating a better world for horses, horse owners and the farrier industry as a whole. Men and women of all ages and skill level are welcomed.
