Our Staff at the FNRC & School
The school (which was founded in 1989) is taught by the Owner & Son, Link Casey, who is your Head Instructor and Master Educator: with over 20 years of experience.
You will be prepared for the real world of horseshoeing. We will help get you ready for Farrier Certification Testing with the
BWFA Farrier Association.
Link provides the everyday training for all of our courses. As a Certified Master Farrier and Master Educator, he is recognized in the farrier industry as owning one of the few family operated small business farrier schools in the industry today. His mission is to ensure you receive the daily “hard work” education to prepare you for self-employment. This relates to all aspects of the training we advertise. Link attended his first class when he was 14 and now has over 20 years of experience.

Once or twice a month, one or more guest Farriers of all ages will come in to teach their specialties in shoeing, forge-work and business related to the current Farrier industry.

Our 12 week and 6 week advanced students will have the opportunity to meet him.
Dan will explain his Equine Flexion Therapy (EFT) patented technique.
Ginger Casey - office only
Co-Owner, Office Administrator, Certifying Official. With over 30 years in this business, I am familiar with the history, short comings and developments and strides and setbacks made in the farrier industry. Most school owners know each other and what we each offer. Remember, this is a very small industry within a larger equine industry but still smaller than most industries. We have made good friends over the years in every state of the US. As the BWFA secretary, we are right on top of providing farrier certification for those who EARN it.
Our office will assist you in any way to make your time here a hard-working dirty job, but enjoyable. We want you to be successful. Apprenticeships and friendships are achieved from this school and we are proud of those who have come before you. We expect you to gain the knowledge that you are seeking and more. When you go home and share it with other horse owners who desperately need a farrier’s assistance you are helping the overall health of the horse.
