At Georgia Horseshoeing School, we train farriers by providing knowledge and skill at the highest level. Using the latest technology, we provide farriers with the best education possible.  The United Farriers Association is an association of members with the horse as our number one priority! We have farrier members as well as horse owner members. Our goal is to always be UNITED to further the education of any person willing to learn more about the equine and farrier industries.

 

Board Members

Picture #1: Jarvis shod his first horse at 8 years old. He attended Casey & Son Horseshoeing School in 1994. After successfully running his own farrier business for 25+ years, he and his wife purchased Casey & Son Horseshoeing School in 2019.

Picture #2: I started shoeing horses in 2000 in South Florida. I attended Casey & Son Horseshoeing School with the intention of being one of the best in my area. With that being said, I can give most of the credit to Mr. Jarvis Bowen & Mr. Doyle Blagg for having a successful business.

Picture #3: Hello, my name is Daniel Burns. I am from White Bluff, TN. I live there with my wife and our 3 kids. I have been through Casey & Son Horseshoeing School and am excited and looking forward to what the future has to hold for the UFA.

Picture #4: Born and raised in Georgia, she has spent a lifetime around horses. As a Certified Equine Therapist, she enjoys helping horse friends therapeutically. She also enjoys trail riding and all-around horsemanship. She says, “Being a horse owner, I find they offer me much more than I could ever offer them.”

Picture #5: After working several years with great trainers in Texas, he has been the manager and trainer for Meadow Chase Farm in Alpharetta, Georgia for over 26 years, specializing in halter horses. He has trained multiple World champions and over 40 All American Quarter Horse Congress champions. He is a WCHA and AQHA Specialty judge. So, in his line of work, he holds a high standard for horseshoeing!

 

Membership Benefits

  • Members will receive a UFA membership id card.

  • Members will receive a UFA decal.

  • Members will receive an electronic monthly newsletter with upcoming events, new association members, and educational literature.

  • All UFA members will receive 1/2 off all clinics and conventions sponsored by the UFA.

  • Children 18 and under are free to all events with a paying UFA member.

 

Membership Fees

  • Student Member Lifetime - $200.00 - any person graduating a horseshoeing school are offered this immediately upon graduation

  • Farrier Member Annual $100.00

  • Farrier Member Lifetime $500.00

  • Veterinarian or Company Member Annual $100.00

  • Veterinarian or Company Member Lifetime $500.00

  • Equine Owner Member Annual $30.00
